Conservative website publishes the NRA Enemies List

The National Rifle Association has leaked what appears to be its enemies list to the Conservative Daily News, a conservative website. I have yet to confirm whether or not this is actually the NRA’s enemies list, but it appears to be the NRA’s enemies list.

Some notable names/organizations on the list:

  • AARP
  • AFL-CIO 
  • American Academy of Pediatrics
  • American Civil Liberties Union 
  • American Medical Association 
  • American Federation of Teachers
  • American Bar Association 
  • American Nurses Association 
  • American Firearms Association 
  • Anti-Defamation League
  • College Democrats of America
  • National Association of Police Organizations
  • National Education Association
  • National Association of Social Workers
  • National Association of Children`s Hospitals and Related Institutions
  • National Association of School Psychologists 
  • People for the American Way 
  • Silver Dollar City - Peter Herschend/Amusement Parks 
  • St. Louis Rams - Pro Football Team

 

The NRA Ememies List would be a list that I would be proud to be on, however, I’m not on their enemies list. The most notable name on that list is former President Jimmy Carter, however, many famous activists, actors/actresses, musicians, mainstream media outlets, columnists, cartoonists, liberal/progressive organizations, and companies are on the list.

The NRA basically put any well-known individual, corporation, or organization whose political beliefs or mission was even remotely against the interests of gun manufacturers on their enemies list. The Nixonian, “us-versus-them” mentality of the NRA, as well as some other conservative organizations and conservative politicians like former President Richard Nixon and current Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, is destructive to this country’s politics.
